BEHIND THE SITE

So what's the problem?

When I was in the third year of my undergraduate degree at Humber College, I created a portfolio website and it served me well. However, I noticed that I continuously added projects and it began to overflow with content. Additionally, the design started to feel a bit outdated.

2024 UPDATE

Where do we want to be?

I want a sleek new portfolio that showcases my best work in the most optimal way.

What are the objectives?

First, I will design concepts and wireframes for my new site which will be the backbone of this new iteration. Then, I will update the actual content of each page. Finally, I will upload the files to my site, which is hosted on GoDaddy.

How do we get there?

In looking at my site, I realized the dark styling and specific design choices I had made looked very dated. I will choose new colour scheme to combat this. My first portfolio is also very word and project heavy so I will cut down on the content and projects, showcasing only the best and focusing more on my process than every little detail involved in a project.

Doing the work!

Using Dreamweaver, I will code each page and rely on their live code feature to ensure it matches up with my initial designs. After I know the designs are functional, I will upload to GoDaddy and debug the site, as there are always areas which work on Dreamweaver and then are less than desirable when actually hosted online.

RESULTS

What happened?

Since you’re already here, I won’t go into too much detail! Hopefully you haven’t encountered any bugs, but if you have please visit my newly updated Contact page to let me know. The intention of this site is to showcase my process and passion for storytelling and marketing, while simultaneously providing a visual experience of my work. It took the better part of four months but I am very proud of the final product.
